Advertise your jewellery valuation or appraisal business

Insurance valuations, probate reports, gemstone identification or diamond grading — your practice gets a page that explains your methods and qualifications properly.

    Quick answer

Where can I advertise jewellery valuation services?

A directory subscription on JewelleryTrader is £29 a month or £290 a year and gives your valuation or appraisal practice its own page covering services, qualifications, prices and the areas you cover, plus a place on the valuer and appraiser pages for your town. No licence is needed to advertise valuation services. The first 200 trade members join free for a year.

How it works for valuers & appraisers

    Registration matters more here

Valuation is unregulated in the UK, so owners lean heavily on memberships and accreditations when choosing. Your page has proper fields for them — IRV, NAG, Gem-A and the rest — rather than leaving you to bury them in a description.

Reach owners at the moment they need you

People come to JewelleryTrader when they are buying or selling jewellery, which is exactly when they start looking for a valuation. The category pages for your area carry links through to local valuers.

    What your profile page shows

Your business gets its own page: description, photos, the jewellery types and areas you cover, opening hours, phone, website, prices if you want to publish them, and any registrations or accreditations you hold. It is indexed by Google in its own right, so people searching for your service in your town can find it directly.

How long it takes to get listed

Joining, filling in your contact details and your business details takes around ten minutes on a phone. There is nothing to install and no sales call — you fill the form, claim your free first year and your page is live.

    Common questions

Do I need a licence to advertise valuation services?+

No. Valuation and appraisal work are not licensable activities in the UK.

Can I list insurance and probate work separately?+

Yes — your page can carry a price list with as many service lines as you need, and you can add the gemmology category as well as valuation.

Do I have to pay anything to join right now?+

No. The first 200 designers, jewellery shops, valuers and jewellery service businesses to join get a completely free first year. You add a card so the subscription continues afterwards, but nothing is taken during those 12 months and you can cancel before renewal.

    Can I cancel?+

Yes, at any time from your dashboard. Your listing stays live until the end of the period you have paid for (or the end of your free year), and you are not charged again.

Will my business page show up on Google?+

Your page has its own web address and is submitted in our sitemap, so it can be found in search on its own — as well as through our directory pages for your service and your area.
