Advertise your jewellery cleaning and polishing business

Workshop or mobile, your cleaning and polishing business gets its own page on JewelleryTrader and appears on the local pages people search when they are looking for this service near them.

    Quick answer

Where can I advertise my jewellery cleaning or polishing business?

A directory subscription on JewelleryTrader is £29 a month or £290 a year and gives your cleaning or polishing business its own page — services, prices, photos, area covered, phone and booking link — plus a place on the relevant and local pages people search. No licence is required to list a cleaning or polishing service. The first 200 trade members join free for a year.

How it works for cleaning & polishing

You do not need a special licence

Cleaning, polishing and plating businesses do not need a specific council licence, and nothing on JewelleryTrader asks you for one. If you hold relevant trade accreditations you can show them on your page as a trust badge, but it is entirely optional.

Show your prices if you want to

Businesses who publish a price guide — ultrasonic clean, rhodium plating, polish and re-finish — get far better enquiries, because people arrive already knowing roughly what it will cost. You can publish a full list, a from-price or nothing at all.

    What your profile page shows

Your business gets its own page: description, photos, the jewellery types and areas you cover, opening hours, phone, website, prices if you want to publish them, and any registrations or accreditations you hold. It is indexed by Google in its own right, so people searching for your service in your town can find it directly.

How long it takes to get listed

Joining, filling in your contact details and your business details takes around ten minutes on a phone. There is nothing to install and no sales call — you fill the form, claim your free first year and your page is live.

    Common questions

Do I need a licence to advertise cleaning or polishing?+

No. Cleaning and polishing is not a licensable activity in its own right, so you can list without a council licence.

    I am mobile — can I cover several towns?+

Yes. You set the areas you travel to, and your page appears on the local pages for each of them.

Do I have to pay anything to join right now?+

No. The first 200 designers, jewellery shops, valuers and jewellery service businesses to join get a completely free first year. You add a card so the subscription continues afterwards, but nothing is taken during those 12 months and you can cancel before renewal.

    Can I cancel?+

Yes, at any time from your dashboard. Your listing stays live until the end of the period you have paid for (or the end of your free year), and you are not charged again.

Will my business page show up on Google?+

Your page has its own web address and is submitted in our sitemap, so it can be found in search on its own — as well as through our directory pages for your service and your area.
