Your hallmark goes on the advert
Anyone selling new jewellery over the hallmarking exemption weight as gold, silver or platinum must have it hallmarked by a UK Assay Office, and that mark should be shown clearly in the advert photos. JewelleryTrader has a dedicated field for your maker's mark and registration, so it shows properly on every advert and on your maker page rather than being buried in a description.
Collections are one advert, not eight
A collection package covers a whole range: each piece gets its own photos, size and price, but you write the materials, inspiration and story once. Sample or discontinued pieces can also be advertised at a reduced price where you are clearing stock rather than selling at full price.
Every seller here is identity checked
Before any jewellery advert goes live the seller passes a photo ID check matched against a live selfie. It takes a couple of minutes once, and it is the reason buyers here behave differently to buyers on free classified sites — they arrive expecting a real, traceable business rather than an anonymous phone number.
What your profile page shows
Your business gets its own page: description, photos, the jewellery types and areas you cover, opening hours, phone, website, prices if you want to publish them, and any registrations or accreditations you hold. It is indexed by Google in its own right, so people searching for your service in your town can find it directly.
How long it takes to get listed
Joining, filling in your contact details and your business details takes around ten minutes on a phone. There is nothing to install and no sales call — you fill the form, claim your free first year and your page is live.
